Moreover, these institutions and companies have vast funds to run trials, and could run really fast ones easily. If they wanted to.

2. The loyalties of many so-called experts are clear.

They're not worried about human health. They're worried about shaking up a system that has served pharmaceutical companies handsomely for decades. The concern isn't about safety—it's about profits. These experts often have deep financial ties to the industry, from research funding to speaking fees. It's no wonder they resist anything that threatens the status quo—even if it's better for patients.
